Made My CD

I made my CD case, what i did was i just took a old CD case i didn't want any more and reused it as my own. I customized it, i put the pictures and all these different designs to make it like a music CD. I got the names of the songs and all that on the back.

I am now basically almost done with my songs on my mac. Soon i will be putting up the recordings of me making my songs.

Questionarres

I am making a questionare so i can have feed back for my rock album.

I'm starting to look at videos on google of people who have made songs using garage band, the good thing is that they dont only have videos of people making music. ITS YOUTUBE!!! they have everything, i can look at tutorials, hints anf tips of how to make my music better, and many more things that can help me with making my instrumental rock album.

So what makes rock albums so popular?

Its mostly about the fans, the people who like the music and the artist. So basically my rock album is aiming for anyone basically who likes rock music and everyone who enjoy's something with an explosive sound to it. Just to be clear my music is not going to be heavy metal or anything like that. My music will probably change from being fast paced to slow, so it will have a lot of variations to it.

So hopefully my album will attract a fair amount of fans.

Another person who is involved in making music using garage band is James Huang, he is making a album as well his genre is techno. In his album he is making 5 songs, so i should also aim to make around 5 songs im my album. He is now on making his album cover i think.

2nd song

I am now almost done with my second song on garage band. Tomorrow or so i will be starting my third song.

First song

Today i am working on my first instrumental rock song. Just to confirm i am using garage band 09 on a mac.

Today i have made some song names for the instrumental rock album that i am going to make. I am soon going to be working on the album name, and i will later on post it on my blog.

Section 2 Software

The software i will be using to make my project is garage band 09. I am also going to use itunes to store all the songs and make an album. From there i am going to burn them on a empty disc. That will be my album. Plus right now i dont have much material in garage band so i am going to use apple software update to download around more than 600+ material on garage band, then that way i have a more broader choice of music.

Section 2 Hardware

The hardware i am going to be using is a mac book pro, an apple software. I am going to be using my acoustic guitar to record some parts for the songs, though i am mostly going to use

the tunes on the software instead of using most of my guitar. I don't have a microphone, but there is one on the mac so thats no problem. This is the hardware i am using, not much though.

Justification 1.3.

The software i will be using is Garage Band 09. I will be downloading a lot of new sounds for the software. Plus I will be using a macbook for this because macs have that software. The sounds I will mostly be using are rock music such as guitars, drums...and so on. I am planning to make is a rock album, with no lyrics though. Garage Band is probably the most reliable software of making music that I know of. On Garage Band I will be using loops which is not recording your own music, you just have to grab the sounds and music from the sides and then drag it into the main section and then you can keep moving the differents short music clips and remix around and seeing which one suits your needs. That is why I am using Garage Band because it is a very smooth reliable software. Providing this ICT software is very easy instead of making your own recordings and listening to it, because in this you dont need know how to play an instrument and you can easily make you own song in about 10 minutes. Plus you can put a lot of different sounds. As I was saying that you can download sounds that other people made from of the web. So there are a lot of advanteges to using this software. Thats why using ths ICT software of making the product is so much easier.

New Subject : Rock Album

I will be starting a new idea, I will be making a rock album. The software i am going to use is garage band. The target for this will be anyone who is interested in rock music obviously. My client for this will be James Huang.

I am making the football website. My target audience is for anyone who is intrested in football, my client for this project will be James Huang. Though i still need to find a good software.
